Soo....

Obviously I'm not very good at keeping up with this lol. Time flies! Let see... Chad and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary last month. It was great. We went to Las Vegas for a few days and went to eat at a couple cool places like Areoule at Mandalay Bay - It was wonderful! And we bought bikes finally. It's a bit hard for me to ride but I'm getting better. I wish we had more time to ride but we're so busy all the time. My parents came down and brought the wine rack they got for us. We love it. They also brought a bunch of old stuff that was fun to go through since I hadn't seen any of it in many many years.

This weekend is Juan and Carrie's wedding. I'm going to start making their wedding cake tonight. Looking forward to this weekend!

1/2 through Aug...

Well we have made it 1/2 way through the month! Mikey and Annie's wedding went really well. It was such a pretty day and she was such a pretty bride. We're so happy for them. Mikey was the happiest man alive that day. The parties were fun - but I'm glad things will be calming down in a couple weeks. Derrick went back home on Wednesday. It was good to have him around for a while. We dont get to see him often. Sunday is Carrie's bridal shower. I hope that goes well... I dont have much energy left in me at this point. But next week will pretty much be relaxing. The only thing I have to do is make a cake for Simi's birthday party on the 22nd. We were going to go to my parents this weekend but its just too busy so we changed that for the last weekend of the month so we will have time to go relax a bit. I miss my parents and want to give my mom a hug... car accidents are so scary. We're just happy she is ok.

Busy Month Coming Up!

Wow... We're going to be very busy next month! But it will be fun and we're looking forward to it. Last weekend was nice. We went to LV for a housewarming and one of our friends was in town from Idaho so we had lunch with her, then we met up with John and his wife for dinner for John's birthday. Then we finally made it to the housewarming. It was nice to see our friends that we hadn't seen in a while.

Soooo... Here's the happenings for August (mostly needing to write this out so I don't forget)...

We'll kick off the month with Mikey & Annie's pre-wedding party at our house on the 1st. It will be a lot of fun. Chad and I are really looking forward to their wedding which will be on the 7th. The 7th also happens to be Chad's mom's birthday. His dad's birthday is the day before so I assume we will do dinner sometime around then. Derrick is flying in from Texas for the wedding on the 3rd (I think... maybe it's the 4th??). Derrick is newly engaged! Another wedding! yay! lol. Anyhow he will be staying with us for a week. We love having him around - he's lots of fun. Jenni & Jason's daughter Elizabeth will be turning 5 and they will be having a party for her either the 4th or 11th... I think... Elizabeth is going to be a flower girl at Mikey and Annie's wedding. That will be so cute. She's such a cutie. Lets see... that brings us about 1/2 way through the month. We want to go to my parents in August - maybe around the 14th or 15th. The 16th is Carrie's Bridal shower wich will be at our house. There will be lots of people which means lots of fun!! My cousin Simi will be turning 17 on the 19th and her party will be on the 22nd... Also - our friends from Washington are flying into LV today and they will be in town for a week... hopefully we can get down there to see them.

Sooooo that's what our month looks like so far. Looks like we're free the end of the month! haha... Oh yes... let's not forget Becky's Birthday on the 31st!!

Hopefully I haven't forgotten anything!! lol...

Hmm

Trying to think of what to write about on here... All I can think of right now is it's really hot here in the summer. Just keep thinking about the winter and the fact we don't have to shovel snow!

What's goin on in our lives?

Well - In June we moved into a new place. We LOVE it! Not having stairs is wonderful. Enzo and Sadezz love running around in the back yard.

Lots of weddings going on this year. Kristine and Nate got married last month. Mikey and Annie will be tying the knot in just a few weeks. Juan and Carrie will be getting hitched in October. My cousin Robin is planning to get married here either in October or next February!

We went to my parents place last weekend. It was nice to just get away for a couple days. We plan on going back next month! Looking forward to that.
