Eventful month...

Well this past month has be busy and fun. It's great that it's spring time. I love it. Easter came around and we had some pictures done by our beautiful & talented friend Mariah! They are so cute even though Rex wasn't in the best mood and the sun kept getting in his eyes. We didn't have a big Easter celebration but we did have our parents over for a BBQ and the Easter Bunny brought Jadon a little basket full of toys and books and whatnot.

Mother's day came and went - My mom gave me a ring my dad gave to her on her 1st mothers day which was really sweet. Chad got us an ipod doc for the bathroom so we can listen to music while we get ready. Becky sent a really cute custom card with Jadon's picture on it and I got a few other cards as well.

Anyhow Jadon is getting really quick at his army crawl thing he has going on and is learning to pull himself up and he also babbles a bit more now... funny little dude. He makes us laugh a lot especially when he growls or laughs!

We took another road trip! We finally made our way up to SLC to see my family. Ivy's husband Jeff graduated with his master's degree, we're very proud of him! Ivy had setup a big surprise dinner party for him with all their family. Becky and Bryce came too and it was nice to spend time with them. It was so nice to FINALLY meet baby Kelsey (aka the cake). She and Jadon got along great - it was so cute to watch them play, even though Rex kept stealing the toys she was playing with lol. They even got to have a sleepover with LeeAnn (aka Honey) while Ivy, Jeff, Becky, Chad & I went out to a piano bar. While we were up north we wanted to do something we hadn't done before so we went up to Park City. Wow, what a beautiful place and the weather was just perfect! I'd really like to go back there and spend a few days sometime.

We also stopped by my aunt and uncles house so they could meet the little guy. He loved them so much, when aunt Margaret picked him up he gave her a smile and a big hug. It was very sweet. Little did we know this would be the last time we would see my uncle Bruce. He fell ill the following week and passed away one week a one day after our visit. We went back up to SLC for the funeral. It was hard, but we know he's in a better place without pain and suffering. RIP Uncle Bruce - we love you and will miss you.
